State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

WATCH: Jacksons Security Fencing on its LPCB-approved products

Jacksons Fencing attended IFSEC International at ExCeL London in June 2019 to showcase its fences and discuss its expertise in the fence manufacturing industry.

Jacksons Fencing is a fence installer and manufacturer with manufacturing sites in Bath, Chester and Kent.

National sales manager Lorraine Preston spoke to IFSEC TV on why getting its fences properly accredited is so crucial.

Crime and technology are changing on a daily basis, but Jacksons Fencing says that this only creates more opportunity to stay ahead of the curve.

Preston said: “We work with critical national infrastructure and we work with the accrediting houses that look at some of the designs, and how best to approach some of the challenges around crime and protecting our critical national infrastructure in the UK.”

The company takes pride in being approved by the LPCB. “We received our new 14 certificates for our LPCB issue 8 products, those products cover both mesh products in single mesh and double mesh,” said Preston.

With 72 years in the business, she also explained that “[it] started off with making timber fencing so some of those basic products have evolved but still in our scheme.”
