Texecom appoints Dudeja as business manager for India

Munish Dudeja joins Texecom from Honeywell, with whom he has gained many years’ experience working in the intruder alarms sector.

Reporting directly to Peter Harries, Texecom’s global sales director, Dudeja will now take control of the company’s business operations in India and assume responsibility for setting up the new India sales office.

Commenting on his appointment, Dudeja is obviously enthusiastic about this opportunity for both Texecom and himself.

“India’s market for intrusion alarm systems is growing rapidly, and the Texecom portfolio of products is very well suited to fit its needs, wants and demands,” he told SMT Online.

“I’ve always been very impressed by the quality of Texecom as a company and a brand, and particularly admired the user-friendliness of its products. Texecom is already recognised in the Indian market as a premium manufacturer, and interest in its solutions has been phenomenal.”

Integration of Klaxon Signals

Established in 1986, Texecom is an award-winning manufacturer of intruder alarm products, including a full range of motion detectors, control panels, perimeter protection devices, heat and smoke detectors, external sounders and power supplies.

The entire product range is ‘designed to perform’, offering “excellent functionality with a unique style”.

Only recently, the company has integrated signalling specialist Klaxon Signals into its operation, with Klaxon now residing as a brand under the Texecom umbrella.

Logical step in company’s development

For his part, Peter Harries sees this expansion in India as another logical step in the growth of Texecom’s global business.

“India represents a huge market opportunity for us,” he explained.

Harries stated that Texecom provides a range of tried-and-tested products that can deal with the fundamental issues required in protecting both people and property.

“Munish is well-experienced in the complexities of electronic security systems,” said Harries, “and is eager to encourage and ensure the success of Texecom India. We’re very glad to have him on board.”
