Set analytics profiles are now available on each Redvision RV30 pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) dome cameras’ preset, using the newly-integrated Digifort video management software.
Redvision’s RV30 X-Series rugged PTZ dome cameras now integrate with open platform, video management software provider Digifort, available exclusively through the Security Buying Group.
Target markets and applications include retail, public areas, transport, defence, education, prisons, stadiums and industry.
The integration with Digifort allows operators to operate the cameras at variable speeds, with flexible control, as well as display, storage and channel expansion options.
Remote configuration
In addition the dome’s wiper, infrared and white light illumination can be switched on automatically, manually or scheduled using the Digifort client. All dome pre-sets and tours can be configured remotely.
Comprehensive analytics profiles can be set up for each rugged dome preset. Digifort’s video management software reads the x, y and z coordinates of the PTZ preset so users can assign individual analytics profiles to each PTZ preset.
The analytics set up in scheduled presets and preset tours can be tailored to different operation such as daytime, night, weekend, holiday and alarm.
Dermot Grace, managing director of Redvision, says: “Digifort gives customers a robust, server-based recording and control platform for the X-Series, with the ability to enhance system effectiveness and operation using advanced, easily set up, analytics.”
Redvision’s RV30 X-Series of rugged PTZ cameras provide full high definition video stream recording, with lower resolution sub-streams for efficient, remote control, display and transmission.
The RV30 range has 1080p and 720p resolution options and people can be identified at 40-60 metres.
