The Women’s Security Society (WSS) is officially relaunching in July with an event in Guys Hospital, London.
The Society’s vision is to be “an accessible, professional and collaborative network, where women see security as a career of choice”. It aims to encourage, assist and support women to develop and grow the skills, experience and relationships to build a thriving career in an inclusive and safe space.
The WSS hopes to see its membership grow with women from a range of backgrounds in the traditional security fields of the public and private sector, physical security and law, as well as the growing security fields of cyber, technology, information security and tech start-ups.
The relaunch event, being sponsored by CriticalArc and NuXform, will take place on 21 July in The Robens Suite on the 29th floor of Guys Hospital (SE1 9RT), between 17:30-21:00.
The evening will consist of announcements from the new WSS board and their future plans, an introduction to a panel of women of mixed experience for a live Q&A, and an open networking opportunity with nibbles and drinks.
