Paxton has created a no-nonsense, 30-minute webinar based on the UK government guidelines, ‘Working safely during COVID-19’. Paxton’s aim is to provide installers with the tools and information that will help them to work safely and reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus using the features of their flagship access control system, Net2.
Subjects covered in the webinar include industry specific guidance, as well as technical information on how installers can implement the new Net2 COVID-secure features:
- Contactless access control – hygienic access via entry and exit points, moving away from touch-based devices, specifically referenced in UK government guidelines
- Flexible access permissions – meet social distancing guidelines by limiting access to high traffic areas and implementing a one-way flow of movement
- Occupancy management – assign visitors and staff to designated areas as well as monitor people numbers with alerts to support social distancing
- Thermal scanning – use cameras to support health and wellbeing in high security areas and identify people that could be at risk
- Checkpoint Control – set designated checkpoints in specific areas of a building where users must be validated before they can access other areas, helping to follow health and safety guidelines and protect user well-being
