In February last year Westminster Group was awarded a complete Airport Security contract at a major international airport in Africa and is making good progress to replicate such security at further airports in Africa.
In August WASS was approved as a Strategic Partner for Security by the International Air Transport association(IATA).
They have won security contracts in the Middle East and have met to discuss security with Heads of State of several nations. A small company growing fast, in size and reputation.

Yes, great bit of work from BT on keeping the comms secure at the Olympics. There almost certainly will have been attempted attacks on the networks during such a high-profile event so the fact that we never even thought about network security while we all enjoyed the spectacles is a testament to their success.

… where there are Winners … there are also Loosers ; and , in the context of the Oylmpics , all who competed in the Paralympics were , most certainly , Winners ; however, I do wonder how many of BT`s engineers working to secure the Paralympics  ,were themselves Disabled ?
Will the legacy of the 2012 Paralympics be , in part , that there is one rule for competitors ; but , another for Security Staff ?

While I can’t speak to BT’s recruitment policy, as of course I know nothing of its machinations, I think it would be unfair to say that BT or any other specific employer operate unfair recruitment. BT is a FTSE 100 company and as such will certainly be an equal opportunities employer. Unless there’s a specific allegation of unfair discrimination, I think it’s a little unfair to pose this question? I’m sure if you contact BT directly, they may be able to tell you what the split is, although it might also be confidential information. Have you got any stats on… Read more »

… my question re BT … &  Disabled Staff is entirely appropriate ( in the contextof the 2012 Paralympics ) ; because , what the Paralympics has clearly demonstrated is what those with disability ARE able to achieve ! What HAS emerged post London 2012 is that many of these highly motivatedc ompetitors are still experiencing difficulty in obtaining suitable employment …which could be because of discrimination ; but , more likely because of ignorance on the part of some employers , who are blinkered as to the potential of those withdisability . I belive that this ` Employer Blinkeredness… Read more »
