Product in a nutshell: Wavestore has introduced a slew of improved features in the latest Version – 5.50 – of its open-platform video management software (VMS).
The added features assist in better leveraging the untapped potential of video surveillance systems and optimising integrated security solutions.
Sectors/verticals: All commercial and residential establishments that rely on video surveillance solutions.
Features:
Easy search and retrieval: The search function in version 5.50 is capable of delivering instantaneous results from large volume of footage or images of the incident. Search results are displayed next to live footage
Compiling footage: The VMS is capable of integrating footage from various cameras into one sequence that could be exported and used as evidence
Multiple video formats: Recorded footage can be exported in multiple video formats in a simple three-step process
For installers: Wavestore has also released its latest ‘Better Together’ Partner Programme that supports its global network of installers and systems integrators who recommend Wavestore to end-user clients. The programme also provides project registration, system design and tender submission support, as well as access to training, demonstration licences and PR services.
Integration: An open platform, Wavestore’s VMS 5.50 offers the widest possible integration options with the surveillance infrastructure of your choice.
Manufacturer says: “We fully understand that in such a competitive marketplace we need to constantly innovate and make our VMS even easier to use in order to stand out from the crowd,” said James Smith, marketing director for Wavestore.
“In this respect, version 5.50 underscores our determination to offer so much more than just industry leading video and recording management. Many of the new and differentiating features have in fact been introduced as a direct result of listening and responding to customer requirements.
“They deliver against our ‘one screen, total control’ and ‘any video, any format’ ethos, allowing what can be very complex operations to be undertaken with ease in the most user-friendly way, even when, for example, integrating best-in-breed video analytics or access control.”
About the manufacturer:
Wavestore is a global leader in digital video recording and data management solutions and claims to be “the number one British provider of video management software”.
Wavestore’s VMS combines powerful ‘any source’ video, audio and recording management with deep integration across multiple technologies from a wide range of third-party technology providers. These include leading camera, video analytics, access control, recording and sensor providers, so users can operate, monitor, control and manage a best-in-breed total security solution from a single screen.
Wavestore has recently been presented with two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, attesting to the innovative nature of its work in the security industry.
