The scheme “strengthens CCTV Center’s iPro 24/7 end-to-end remote CCTV monitoring solution, which uses Panasonic’s market-leading equipment”, a statement said.
Carlton D’Souza, sales and marketing manager at CCTV Center, said: “System designers, installers and end-users can now source everything they need from Panasonic and the leading companies that have been appointed as CCTV Center’s Technology Partners.
“This allows them to take advantage of the hugely exciting cost savings and operational advantages of IP-based CCTV monitoring.
“Working with our Technology Partners, who provide a full spectrum of specialist add-on skills – including lighting, audio, external detection, network switching and broadband services – customers no longer need rely on third party solutions to complete their remote CCTV monitoring package. Our Technology Partner scheme provides everything they require as part of a Panasonic systems one-stop shop.”
Kick-off event
Representatives from all the companies involved met for a special one-day ‘kick-off’ event in April. Masato Nakamura, Panasonic’s deputy MD of Systems Solutions (Europe), also flew in specially from Germany, underlining the meeting’s significance.
The statement said: “Issues discussed included the opportunity for customers to save more than 75 per cent of their existing manned guarding costs per site by switching to i-Pro 24/7 event-driven remote CCTV monitoring, without reducing security levels. The use of existing IP networks also allows substantial monitoring cost savings to be achieved – up to 70% compared with using dedicated phone lines, for instance.”
