3xLOGIC’s VIGIL video management system lands in Europe

3xLOGIC has launched its VIGIL video management system (VMS) in the European market.

Seeking to replicate its success in the US, the specialist in cloud-based security solutions is pitching the platform as offering the benefits of integrated video and access control without the complexity.

A cloud-based programing tool configures integration between VIGIL, with no connecting wires, and 3xLOGIC’s infinias access control solution. Users thus have video is automatically linked with access control events and alarms.

The enterprise-grade VMS is the fulcrum of a VIGIL range that also includes network video recorders (NVRs) and power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras. All VIGIL NVRs come pre-configured with VIGIL VMS software.

3xLOGIC says VIGIL provides functionality conventionally only available to larger projects and negates the need for expensive technical labour. Installation firms focused mainly on SMEs or seeking to diversify into integration can therefore create new revenue streams.

Features

  • Events viewable via PC or mobile app for rapid, remote viewing of footage and response to alarms
  • SmartSearch functionality for rapid identification and review of events
  • VIGIC central management software (VCM) monitors server connectivity, camera status, storage details and server settings
  • RapidStream technology and SubStream motion detection offers high resolution while slashing bandwidth demands
  • Narrow down points of interest within larger playback clips by creating a SmartSearch mask over an area of an image, and surveillance data can also be routinely archived without performing task manually
  • Heat mapping, restricting and locking video features
  • A set-up wizard guides installers and end users through configuration, including setting network parameters, system identification information and camera profiles. Plug-and-play capability means no IP video experience necessary for deployment
  • Wire-free integration with 3xLOGIC’s infinias access control solution for automatically linking with access control events and alarms

3xLOGIC says

“The response to 3xLOGIC’s presence in Europe has been phenomenal,” said David Hughes, 3xLOGIC’s global product manager. “The availability of VIGIL is the next step in our strategy to redefine the way in which security systems are designed, specified and configured across the continent.

“Suitable for almost any budget, VIGIL is designed to be fully integrated to provide SMEs with comprehensive, cost-effective and state-of-the-art video and access control infrastructures that are easy to manage, simple to install and can scale in line with changing needs.”

Availability

VIGIL is available through the existing PAC channel, with full access to its technical support.

3xLOGIC will form part of the line-up showcased by STANLEY Products & Solutions at IFSEC International 2019, taking place 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London (stand IF2930). Book your free ticket now.
