Axis Communications has launched new dome models for the AXIS P32 and AXIS M32 network camera ranges.

Available in both indoor and outdoor models, the AXIS P32 dome cameras all have varifocal lens and remote zoom and focus capabilities plus a number of cybersecurity features.

The two AXIS M32 models are IK10-rated fixed domes for indoor and outdoor surveillance with edge storage, offering redundancy should connection to the camera be lost.

All cameras will be available through Axis distribution channels in Q4 2019.

Vertical sectors

Variety of environments, including retail stores, education sites and healthcare facilities.

AXIS P32 features

  • Axis Lightfinder 2.0 and Axis Forensic WDR maintain high image quality and clarity in near darkness
  • Varifocal lens and remote zoom and focus capabilities for close-up and overview without manual fine tuning
  • Vandal-resistant IK10-rated casing
  • Axis Zipstream with support for H.264/H.265 to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements
  • Signed firmware and secure boot guarantee ensures that only authorised, unaltered firmware is installed. Secure boot protects against malware upon factory default
  • Indoor models AXIS P3245-V and AXIS P3245-LV have no visible screws, with a snap-on casing easily repainted to blend in with surroundings
  • AXIS P3245-LV and AXIS P3245-LVE include Axis OptimizedIR with extended reach range for surveillance in pitch darkness
  • AXIS P3245-LV and AXIS P3245-LVE offer two-way audio and I/O connectivity for audio detection integrations

AXIS M32 features

  • 1080p (AXIS M3205-LVE) or 4 MP video quality (AXIS M3206-LVE)
  • Both deliver wide-angle view, but AXIS M3206-LVE does so both horizontally and vertically for coverage close to the camera as well as far away
  • WDR and built-in IR illumination for clear, sharp video even in challenging light or total darkness
  • Support for analytics like AXIS Guard Suite
  • Connect devices to I/O ports to trigger alarms or actions. Connection to input can be supervised
  • Edge storage lets you record directly to the camera, providing redundancy if connection to the camera is lost
  • Axis Zipstream with support for H.264/H.265 to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements
  • Weathershield and mounting bracket for easy installation
