Axis launches new range of ‘see in the dark’ IR cameras

Axis Communications has announced the launch of several new network cameras featuring infrared (IR) illumination.

Models include pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ), fixed dome, bullet, fisheye and panoramic cameras plus discreet sensors units.

The camera’s ability to operate in pitch darkness allows 24/7 surveillance without the need for additional lighting, thus enabling very discreet surveillance in sensitive locations.
