ED worked with Synectics and installed a high performance monitoring system designed to meet the demands of “the contemporary gaming and entertainment environment”. The system uses Sony HDV 900, JVC TKC 920E and 360Vision VID-1800P04-FC-NP cameras, information from which is transmitted to a 256 input Synectics Tesseract SM switching matrix.
The matrix currently controls 152 cameras, covering almost every part of the casino floor, including gaming tables, cash desks and all of its entrance and exit points. Viewed from the control room, casino operators can monitor customers for their own safety and peace of mind, as well as look out for broader health and safety concerns.
