Extended 5-year warranty announced by Hikvision

Hikvision has launched a new five-year warranty on premium project products in the UK & Ireland to further support customers and make project maintenance easier and more cost-effective.

Hikvision-Warranty-20Hikvision says it takes quality seriously and puts a lot of effort into ensuring its products are both innovative and reliable. To give customers greater peace of mind, the five-year warranty will be added for premium project product lines, such as DeepinView and Ultra Series cameras, DeepinMind and Ultra Series NVRs, and thermal products (not including temperature screening products) from 1 January 2020.

Most Hikvision products come with a standard three-year warranty, but the company says it recognises the value of extra support to help customers with managing projects and costs. For this reason, relevant products shipped from Hikvision to the original purchaser from 1 January 2020 will automatically have a guarantee of five years in total (Terms and Conditions apply).  This extended warranty also applies to purchases of these products going forward.

“At Hikvision we have a proactive Product Quality Life Cycle to ensure our products are fit-for-purpose and reliable”, says Gary Harmer, Hikvision UK & Ireland Sales Director and recent IFSEC Global 2020 Influencer award-winner. “In providing the extended five-year warranty period we are providing our customers with the assurance of quality and reliability, delivering peace of mind and a stronger partnership as a result.”
