Hanwha Techwin launches Samsung Wisenet P 4K 360 degree fisheye camera

Hanwha Techwin has launched a new Wisenet model: PNF-9010R, a 360-degree 4K fisheye camera with on-board dewarping.

Analytics functions like people-counting and heatmapping make it particularly appealing to retailers.

  • Variety of alternative viewing modes, including single panorama, double panorama and quad views
  • Licence-free people-counting feature offers scope for measuring efficiency between footfall and actual sales in retail outlets and helps identify busiest days, times and seasons to help stoe manage peaks and troughs of customer flow at checkouts
  • Licence-free heatmapping provides information about customer behavior within the store. Displays hotspots to show customer buying patterns, including dwell times
  • WiseStream technology: In common with all Wisenet P cameras the PNF-9010R boasts H.265 compression and WiseStream, a complementary compression technology which dynamically controls encoding, balancing quality and compression according to movement in the image.
  • Bandwidth efficiency is 75% higher compared to H.264 technology when WiseStream is combined with H.265 compression.
  • IR illuminators and bi-directional audio support
  • A single push of a button located at the back of the camera will automatically focus the camera via the simple focus feature which can also be remotely accessed via the network.
  • A digital PTZ allows users to pan, tilt and zoom in on specific areas for a more detailed view, while simultaneously monitoring the whole 360-degree view.
  • Privacy masking
  • 12VDC and PoE capability
  • Should the network be disrupted, video is automatically recorded to on-board SDXC storage to prevent loss of potential video evidence
  • M12 connector makes it suitable for use on buses and trains where it can be used internally to monitor passenger activity or externally to monitor the road or track ahead.
