Last month saw Thinking Space Systems exhibit once again at the leading international security exhibition, IFSEC.
Here is our IFSEC 2019 review of the most popular event on the security industry calendar.
We occupied stand IF2000 in our usual position, but with a larger stand size which was big enough to accommodate our latest designs in consoles, media walls and accessories for security control rooms.
A larger stand meant a complete redesign and the opportunity to show of the capabilities of our new large format digital printer. For it was here that we officially launched our new printed panel solution.
What is the new printed panel solution?
Our panel system, which clads the framework of every console and technical build, is now printed with a texture or pattern. It is then lacquered to create a hardwearing finish, and meets our 10 year warranty for technical furniture.
The removable access panels, which are usually found along the rear of the desk, have been improved. You’ll find a new push catch with optional locking mechanism, improved fitting thanks to new extrusions and panel material and a new vent pattern.
Read the full story of how we received government funding to invest in the new printing equipment.
Standard finishes
At the show, we demonstrated on the stand the range of standard swatches now available, with one of the consoles displaying the Quilted Grey pattern finish. These swatches will be added to on a regular basis, ensuring our furniture remains on trend. View our latest swatches, from textures to patterns such as gradients, natural materials, pattern repeats and more.
We demonstrated a console with a customised print finish. By creating a montage of IFSEC, Thinking Space and London coordinating with the stand design, we achieved a console wrap.
If you would like a console wrap, have a logo or artwork to incorporate into your console design, send us your artwork and we’ll do the rest.
We launched our new tool for choosing your finishes, the materials and finishes configurator. By choosing worktops, nosing, panels and framework, you can create the look you want for your technical furniture.
We demonstrated our latest addition to the range of control room seating, the 24/7 Humanscale Freedom Chair. Our visitors found this chair extremely comfortable as it automatically adjusts to every user and designed to eliminate the need for manual controls.
We also asked visitors to take a seat at our console and have their photo taken in our simulated control room set up. If you had your photo taken and please share it with us on social media using the hashtag #printingspace, we’d love to see your photos.
We also displayed an example of an Evolution media wall. Designed to ergonomically position large flat screen monitors to create a video wall, our solution is popular with CCTV control rooms worldwide.
To mark the launch of the new printing production line, the team sported patterned bow ties at the event. The team of four included newcomer Darren Allen, who joined the Thinking Space team in April to take on the role of International Sales Manager.
Thank you to those who visited our stand IF2000 last month, we’ve met some great people with some interesting projects to work on.
