Merger of Vicon and IQinVision approved

Vicon has announced that its’ previously announced merger with IQinVision has been officially completed.

In a statement, Vicon said the merger is consistent with their strategy of providing “high-quality, proprietary” surveillance solutions and that they plan to leverage the combined operations of both companies along with their “technological synergies.” “We are delighted to join forces with IQinVision.

The combination of highly regarded brands within the security industry allows us to bring a compelling and complete video solution to our customers,” Vicon Chairman and CEO Ken Darby said in the statement.
