The spoof nature video was designed “to communicate the fundamental need for dedicated CCTV lighting to improve the performance of any camera during the hours of darkness”.
The video had over 2500 views, and demonstrated “how high performance infrared lighting can be used for effective covert surveillance, and crystal clear, quick-start white light can be deployed as a visual deterrent”.
With the chance to win an iPad for correctly naming the bear, the competition received hundreds of entries.
Contrary to common belief, the Raytec bear was not the lesser spotted Shaun Cutler, MD of Raytec, but none other than the company’s latest marketing recruit Declan Clark.
