Video: How Samsung are “Changing the Face of IP”

In this video tour of the Samsung Techwin stand at IFSEC International 2014 we asked Peter Ainsworth, Head of Product and Marketing, to explain how Samsung is changing the way that customers look at IP Security.

As Peter says “Changing the Face of IP is a very bold statement” but it is one which Samsung demonstrates in two key areas: Zero Configuration and Open Platform.

1. Zero Configuration NVRs which allow installers to set up a system in less than one minute – making it simple and easy for anyone to get started with IP security, no matter what their experience.
2. Open Platform Technology is not, as Peter points out, ONVIF but how Samsung they have opened up the processor in their cameras to accept third party analytics. Their new WiseNetIII camera or domes allow customers to upload third-party Apps which giving customers greater choice about who to integrate with.
