ASSA ABLOY acquires fire & security door manufacturer Sunray Engineering

Sunray Engineering, the UK-based manufacturer of high specification steel and timber security doors, fire doors and louvre systems has been acquired by ASSA ABLOY Group.

Based in Kent, Sunray designs, manufacturers and installs steel doorsets and louvre products, suitable for a variety of applications. Its security doors, grilles and louvres are third-party certified and tested to LPCB LPS 1175 Issue 7 standards, designed to provide proven levels of resistance to intruders.

The team also offers bespoke services to create physical security solutions that respond to the requirements of a project.

Sunray was established in 1980 and has 70 employees.
