IFSEC Interviews

IFSEC Interviews: James Willison & Sarb Sembhi – “A converged security centre is key to enabling a single view of security”

At IFSEC International 2022 in May, we spoke with James Willison and Sarb Sembhi, Consultants for the IFSEC Converged Security Centre show-floor feature – a place where physical and cyber security come together.

IFSEC Global spoke with James and Sarb at IFSEC’s Converged Security Centre, a key feature of the show where presentations and discussions take place over the three days to discuss the value of unifying physical and cyber security for 21st century threats.

Designed to provide a leading example of how the two worlds can collaborate to enhance organisational resilience against new threat vectors, this year’s partner was Advancis, who presented on a range of different scenarios demonstrating the benefits of open, integrated security management platforms.

In the interview here (available to watch on Youtube directly or below), James and Sarb explain what the Converged Security Centre is all about, the uptake of convergence and the types of use-cases that stand out and were on show at IFSEC.
