Whitepaper: Enhancing security, resilience and efficiency across a range of industries

IFSEC 2019

WATCH: The LCPB Attack Testing Zone will show the merits of third-party approvals at IFSEC 2019

Technicians from the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) will put a range of security doors, perimeter fencing, shutters and covers to the test by attacking them with hammers, wire cutters and other handheld tools at IFSEC 2019.

The LPCB, which is part of BRE Global, has worked with industry and insurers for more than a century to set the standards needed to ensure that fire and security products and services perform effectively.

Burnished by third-party certification LPCB’s Loss Prevention Standards (LPS) are widely recognised and applied in fire and security sectors around the world. At the LCPB Attack Testing Zone LPCB technicians will put non-approved products to the test alongside LPCB-approved alternatives that have achieved a minimum of LPS 1175 SR-3 compliance.

The results should demonstrate starkly the difference in quality between approved and unapproved versions of security products.

CLD Fencing, one of the companies submitting their approved products to attack by LPCB technicians, have put together the video below to give you an idea of what you can expect. View the timetable below the video.

The LPCB Attack Testing Zone takes place across three days at IFSEC International 2019, 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London. Book your free ticket now.
