Envision Gateway was launched by Envision Intelligent Solutions in August 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The product was initially created to assist in the management of COVID in the workplace during the first lockdown, however, is now being used more broadly to aid construction site security. Additionally, the software can provide full job costing, financial reporting, and statistics.
Speaking on receiving the Innovation Award at this year’s Security and Fire Excellence Awards, Amanda says: “Winning felt amazing, I was so thrilled for all of us. The Envision team has worked so hard during the pandemic and have generated innovative product ideas which we have been able to bring to fruition during lockdown. It’s amazing what we have achieved in such a short space of time, and during a global pandemic.”
Envision Gateway has worked to prevent the potential spread of COVID on construction sites throughout the pandemic using contactless technology. The system can flag employees with a high temperature, instantly denying them access to the construction site.
“The Envision Gateway supports COVID compliance with its built-in facial recognition and temperature checking functionality. Moreover, the built-in time and attendance system offers full integration with a company’s HR and payroll systems ensuring effective people management,” says Amanda.
She continues: “It is allowing businesses across a range of sectors in the UK and Ireland to operate business as usual during the pandemic by supporting them with Health and Safety linked to COVID, people management reporting. Although the Envision Gateway was born out of necessity during the pandemic, many businesses see the long-term benefits of using the Envision Gateway to support with business efficiency.”
According to Amanda, the company has received a significant amount of positive feedback from current and potential customers regarding future plans for the expansion of the technology.
“Our team of account managers and engineers work very closely with our customers on a daily basis. As a business, we have a strong emphasis on customer care. By listening to our customers’ needs and wants, we have been able to enhance our products and develop new products to solve their problems. We will always go the extra mile for our customers.”
She concludes: “Winning the Innovation Award this year has been a massive achievement for me and the team. It really has been the icing on the cake in terms of recognition for all the hard work we put in.”
