ADI Global Appoints Michael Flink as President

Michael Flink

ADI Global, the wholesale distributor, has appointed Michael Flink as president.

The newly appointed Flink will lead the subsidiary of Honeywell Security Group’s (HSG) business operations across the Americas, EMEA and India.

Flink, who has been president of ADI Americas since 2010, will continue to report to HSG President Ron Rothman.

“Michael is a distinguished leader with many years of experience building successful distribution models, driving growth and delivering positive results,” says Rothman. “Under his leadership, ADI Global will continue to strengthen its value proposition, maximize its global network and deliver a robust customer experience to help customers grow their businesses.”

In his new role, Flink will drive the company’s global business strategy to maximise vendor and customer relationships, strengthen product categories and lead expansion plans across all regions.

In his earlier role as president of ADI Americas, Flink led a cultural transformation focused on growth, marketing strategies and improving the customer experience and strengthening the organisation.

“Our company is well positioned to grow, and we are committed to serving dealers and vendors around the world,” says Michael Flink, president, ADI Global.

“With ADI’s strong multi-brand, multi-category and multi-region distribution model, we will continue to drive growth and build on our position as a global leader in distribution, and I am proud to have the opportunity to lead this organisation.”

Flink joined ADI in 2003 as vice president of marketing for ADI North America. In 2005 he oversaw the company’s global expansion into Europe, in which 32 offices were opened in the first year.

Under his leadership, the company completed the acquisition of Gardiner Group Europe and extended its reach into 14 countries across the region. Flink also served as general manager for Honeywell Security Middle East from 2006-2010, where he opened the region’s first office and established sales, marketing, technical support and supply chain operations to serve customers across 22 countries.
