Hanwha Techwin has recently launched a serverless ANPR solution for small site management, in addition to enhancing its Wisenet premium range.
Serverless ANPR solution for small site management
The launch of serverless ANPR is set to strengthen the range of Hanwha’s range of intelligent traffic management systems, highlights the company.
Up to four Wisenet ANPR cameras can be configured via IP communications, enabling data to be captured and sent via a convenient user interface.
Using a powerful chipset, the serverless ANPR solution is said to offer 95% accuracy when capturing the number plates of vehicles moving at up to 50km/h. The new solution is designed to offer an affordable edge-based solution for car parks, petrol stations and small residential estates with multiple entrances/exits, barriers or roadways.
The solution will be able to automatically control the movement of up to 1,000 white listed cars through barriers, via camera relay outputs. Users will also have access to improved car park management information, including occupancy rates, and ‘time spent’.
An API is available to system integrators, enabling the ANPR solution to be integrated with third-party software and systems.
Intelligent Traffic Management Suite
The range of ANPR based intelligent traffic management solutions from Hanwha Techwin are the result of the company’s partnership with FF Group. Additional systems include number plate server solutions for larger car parks, and cloud-based options to cover multiple sites.
“Collectively, these ANPR solutions provide car park access control for business applications, as well as large scale city wide based systems which help local authorities keep people safe, enforce parking regulations and detect other traffic infringements,” said Uri Guterman, Head of Product & Marketing for Hanwha Techwin Europe. “The key benefit of the deep integration of FF Group’s analytics with our Wisenet cameras is that users can deploy a highly effective ANPR solution without having to evaluate the myriad of specialist analytics solutions on the market.”
Wisenet P Series
Hanwha has also recently enhanced its premium Wisenet P series of IP cameras. The three new 4-channel multi-sensor cameras are designed to provide users with a cost-effective solution for detecting and tracking objects in open spaces.
Each model features motorised varifocal lenses for greater control of focal length, angle of view and zoom, while two of the units are able to illuminate objects of a distance up to 30m via their built-in smart IR illumination for each sensor.
All three are also equipped with motorised PTRZ gimbals, which are said to reduce installation times for engineers, so they can remotely pan, tilt, rotate and zoom the lens’ positions in order to set the camera’s field of view.
“These new models, which enable operators to choose from a broad range of customisable angles and zoom settings per sensor, offer cost savings for both system integrators and end users,” adds Uri. “This is because multi-sensor cameras use less cable, conduit and mounting hardware compared to what would normally be required to enable up to four separate cameras to do the same job. They also need fewer VMS licenses as only a single IP connection is required.”
The model numbers of each unit are:
Wisenet PNM-9084QZ: 2MP x 4 channels with 3~6mm motorised-varifocal lenses.
Wisenet PNM-9084RQZ: 2MP x 4 channels with 3.2~10mm motorised-varifocal lenses. Built-in smart IR illumination.
Wisenet PNM-9085RQZ: 5MP x 4 channels with 4.13~9.4mm motorised-varifocal lenses. Built-in smart IR illumination.
