Mark Wall, security specialist and founder of Wall2Wall Group, has raised over £600 for Anxious Minds alongside his daughter, Maddie.
The pair climbed Mount Snowdon – which stands at 1,085 metres as the highest peak in England and Wales – in May in honour of mental health awareness week.
Anxious Minds, the chosen charity, provides vital support, counselling, and resources for individuals dealing with anxiety disorders. With a strong focus on promoting mental wellbeing and breaking down the stigma, it offers dedicated programmes to empower individuals and help them navigate their anxiety.
Mark Wall explained: “The theme of this year’s mental health awareness week was anxiety. As something I have been open about across social media, I was overwhelmed with the response I received and wanted to push myself further to shine a light on charities that do incredible work to provide support and raise awareness.
“The journey up Mount Snowdon to me represented the path to resilience that we bravely navigate. It serves as a reminder that with the right support and understanding, it is possible to conquer personal challenges and literally achieve new heights!
“Plus it was great to spend quality time with Maddie, herself an inspiration to me as someone who is self-motivated to make a difference and always ready for a challenge.”
Maddie Wall added: “Anxious Minds is doing amazing work in providing support when it is needed most. I am so grateful to all who have donated to help raise awareness and funds for their cause. Together, we can bring about positive change and help build a world where mental health is prioritised in the same way as physical health.”
