Video surveillance brand Avigilon spoke to IFSEC TV recently.
In the interview below Paul Such, VP of EMEA sales at the Canada-headquartered company, discusses Avigilon’s latest innovations at IFSEC 2019.
Among the solutions showcased at ExCeL London were its latest video management software. Avigilon Control Center 7 (ACC 7) provides users with situational awareness from their video surveillance systems.
ACC7 introduces Focus of Attention, a user interface for live video monitoring that eschews static video feeds in favour of AI-powered video analytics and Unusual Motion Detection technologies.
“ACC 7 is truly a transformational product in how users will digest and gain valuable information from their video surveillance systems,” said James Henderson, Avigilon’s president, upon the solution’s launch in the first quarter of 2019. “By using advanced AI technologies to help focus operators’ attention on events that may need further investigation, ACC 7 will take the system from being reactive to proactive, helping redefine the future of video surveillance.”
Avigilon, which is a Motorola Solutions company, develops advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions.
