The image quality versus the size of the unit is pretty impressive. This will be a big competitor to Axis’ Camera Companion among others.

The camera has got the lovely design and the image quality is awsome. I have never seen such a camera before. The 88 degrees angle is superb. It’s size is going to make it much sought after camera in the modern day surveillance systems. If the manufacturers worked on the night fuctionality then perhaps its utility and application would really surpass the previous versions. The review is wonderful and very very explicitly explained all its features in no time.
Hi Colin, You sound like a shill for the IP camera companies. The key question for our industry is exactly what interface should lead from the camera to the next piece of equipment in the system? In this case, the camera (sorry, “camera unit itself”) sports a proprietary, short-haul interface to a complex piece of equipment that is designed to go in the ceiling. Not future proof, not convenient. An alternative would be HDcctv cameras, some of which are smaller than a golf ball, which drive a signal 100m away from the camera mount, with the benefits of 100% multi-vendor… Read more »
