The Video Surveillance Report 2022

Arcules announces distribution agreement with Wesco

Arcules has announced a strategic global distribution partnership with Wesco. The move is designed to ‘expand brand awareness’ and ‘increase access to easy, scalable, and reliable cloud and managed services’ in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Through the partnership with Wesco, Arcules will now be able to utilise Wesco’s distribution network, giving greater visibility for customers seeking more flexible and secure cloud video solutions.

“When it comes to video surveillance and security, companies of all sizes are embracing cloud-based applications as they look to leverage analytics, remote monitoring, and other IoT-enabled capabilities for improved performance,” said Tara Dunning, Vice President, Global Security, Wesco.

“We are pleased to partner with a best-in-class provider like Arcules as part of our larger strategy to bring to bear the digital innovations and tools needed to improve video surveillance, gain critical business insights, and bolster the bottom line.”

Wesco will act as a conduit between Arcules, systems integrators, and end-user customers. The collaboration will focus on creating and growing cooperative relationships, and providing technical guidance to design streamlined, cost-effective, cloud-enabled solutions.

“With Wesco, we have a partner we share a vision with of the industry’s ongoing transition to software-as-a-service,” said Andreas Pettersson, CEO, Arcules. “By evangelising the migration from on-premises surveillance systems, we help organisations eliminate complexity, reduce maintenance, and save money while improving safety and cyber security.”
