Asolvi strengthens focus on fire and security market following acquisition of Binary Soluciones

Asolvi, alarm management software provider for the fire and security market, has acquired Spanish Binary Soluciones to expand its geographical market presence and strengthen its focus on the sector.

NicoElNino-AlamyStock-Acquisition-22The move follows previous acquisitions, such as that of Alarm Master and German-based TIVAPP, as well as the release of its cloud-based alarm management solution, Asolvi Protect.

The new acquisition will enable the business to reach into the Spanish and Latin American markets. Asolvi was originally founded in Trondheim, Norway in 1991 and now employs more than 160 staff in 11 offices across Europe and Latin America.

By integrating Binary’s expertise in mobile workforce management, maintenance scheduling, and other crucial aspects of field service management, Asolvi explains it will now be able to enhance its offerings.

A bright future for the fire and security industry

The business believes the fire and security market has transformed in the last decade and “is poised for continued growth”, hence its continued focus on the sector. Asolvi explains that demand has risen for individuals and businesses to protect properties where awareness has grown for the consequences of failing to do so, alongside stricter regulatory requirements and evolving technology, as to reasons behind the opportunities.

The company’s fire and security team now includes developers, consultants and customer support staff across the regions it services.

Its products, such as Alarm Master and cloud alternative Asolvi Protect, are deigned to support engineers with its service management software for small and medium-sized enterprises. In particular, it aims to support in ensuring compliance with industry standards, planning and managing resources and reporting to inspectors and clients.
