D-Link India CEO conferred with the title of ‘CEO of the year’

D-Link’s India, CEO, Tushar Sighat  was honored & conferred with the title of ‘CEO of the year at recently concluded ‘CMO Asia – World Brand Congress 2014’ held in Singapore.

Hosted by CMO Asia, the 23rd edition of World Brand Congress was held recently at Pan Pacific, Singapore. The theme for World Brand Congress 2014 was “BRANDS THAT LAST: ROLE OF SUSTAINABILITY IN INNOVATIVE BRANDING”.

The journey so far has been fruitful with experiences that will accelerate further growth. With India marching towards a new digital age, D-Link is committed towards enabling this new trend & facilitating internet penetration in every nook and corner of the country”, said Tushar Sighat, CEO – D-Link (India) Ltd. on receiving the honor.

Sighat was honored for his remarkable career in ICT industry spanning more than two decades. Under his leadership, the growth story of D-Link (India) Limited in the last four years has been phenomenal. The net sales of D-Link has sky rocketed – Rs 128 Cr. in FY 2010- 11, Rs 223 Cr. in FY 2011-12, Rs 353 Cr. in FY 2012-13 and Rs 487 Cr. in FY 2013-14. The profitability (after tax) of the company has also risen significantly in the last four years – Rs 3.42 Cr. in FY 2010-11, Rs 7.04 Cr. in FY 2011-12, Rs 12.32 Cr. in FY 2012-13, and Rs 13.58 Cr. in FY 2013-14.

Overall D-Link (India) Ltd. has recorded 37.8 percent growth in revenues with 10.2 percent growth in Net Profits for FY 2013-14.  While D-Link continues to be a leader in SMB/ SME & consumer networking domain, it has also enhanced its reach in large enterprise domain with strategic business approach & innovative solution offerings.

CMO Asia consists of about 40 countries around the world, including India, China, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and awards organizations for achievements in fields such as brand and quality excellence.
